Whilst your marriage is a display of your love and commitment to your partner, it carries with it legal requirements that must be adhered to make it a lawful union within Australia.

For instance, were you aware that a marriage cannot be solemnised until after one calendar month from the date the authorised celebrant receives the Notice of Intended Marriage?  Also, did you know that a marriage of any person less than 18 years of age without an order of a judge or magistrate is invalid?
